Tonight’s home game was about more than just soccer, it was about community and support for others. Tonight we were Bobcat Strong for a community in mourning. CP-U started the game off quickly by scoring within the first 30 seconds of the game, but our team responded quickly and held off CP-U for the remainder of the first half. The girls showed how strong there were tonight, they came together and played bobcat soccer for the rest of the first half. The second half the bobcats played great until a second goal caused them to break momentum which led to the third goal. After the third goal the bobcats played tough and fought for the remainder of the game. Playing a tough opponent like CP-U and only losing by three is a great accomplishment. Five years ago we would not have been able to play competitive soccer against CP-U and now we can…this just shows how much we have grown as a program. I am very proud of the way my team handled themselves tonight both on and off the field. This is truly an amazing program!
